Food was delicious. Must be a local favorite. There was a line worth the wait. The sweet potato casserole was unique and tasty

Can't rate higher, food was excellent quality, quickly delivered to us in the drive thru, and for under $25 for two hungry adults it couldn't be beat. We decided to bring our meal on the porch to eat and the staff was so kind and helpful; asking if we needed any refills or anything else. The fried chicken had such an amazing battering and a crunch that made heads turn. The side salad was pretty, and the grilled cheese made my vegetarian girlfriend cry of joy. Will be returning when back in the state.

Byron and the crew were very nice. The best BBQ I've ever eaten. It was worth the ride. I highly recommend the BBQ, the chicken was good but it was just fried chicken. Not what I was expecting. I thought it'd be covered in sauce but it was still good and EVERYTHING was fresh.

We love the fried chicken at Smoky Mountain Barbecue. Their banana pudding is the best. They have an extensive menu at this home town walk through and sit down restaurant. The place is clean and the staff is super friendly.

We came across this gem 💎 when we were out in Georgia. It is a cute little local place and the food was great!!! If you go to the mountains out here YOU have to try this place. I’m from Texas so I know bar-b-que and I would definitely come back!! Staff was friendly and the other patrons were friendly too. Felt like I was eating with family or a bunch of friends.

My wife and I have wanted to try this place for years now. Occasionally we will drive past it and remember it is there. Finally we made the trip and I am glad to report that we had a fantastic experience. Granted the inside isn't open likely due to being short staffed. However, everyone was very polite and the drive through wait was perfect on such a slow day. We ate on the porch which is still open to customers. The Food was everything we wanted it to be. Flavorful, great portions and in the bags was everything we could of needed including two different sauces for the bbq. By the way, that barbecue based sauce was fantastic and leaned a bit more towards eastern style (which is my preference of course)...great mix. Altogether, a great experience. Sweet tea was great. Can't forget to mention that the prices are more than fair givin these times. We will be returning. Thank you SMB!
